ROBERT CARL GLADDEN

Robert C. Gladden, age 76, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 19, 2019.

A Visitation Service will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Bob was born on September 29, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Merl Gladden and Tilma (Zimbleman) Gladden. After graduating high school in Grandview, Missouri, Bob served his country for seven years in the United States Navy, also continuing his education and obtaining an Associates Degree.

Bob created for himself a successful career as an electric technician and retired  from Allied Signal. He was blessed with two sons, Tim and Ron. Bob was joined in marriage with his wife Diana on April 3, 1995. In life he loved to bowl, golf and go fishing with his son in Minnesota every year. This was a strong passion of Robert's.

Bob is preceded in death by his son Tim D. Gladden; sister, Joyce Haddock; and parents, Merl and Tilma Gladden.

He is survived by his wife Diana Gladden; son Ron Gladden (Brandi); sister, Joanne Crandell (Jim); sister, Janice Nelson (Garry); grandson, Dr. Bennett Gladden; and many extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Redwood of Raymore, 600 East Sunrise Drive, Raymore, Missouri 64083.
