Woodrow (Woody) F. Ellison, 94, of Raymore, MO was born July 19, 1915 and passed away May 15, 2010. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at South Haven Baptist Church, Belton, MO with visitation 1-2pm followed by burial at Raymore Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gerry, in January 2010 and 3 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by daughters, Trish McDonald (Glen) of Lee's Summit, Mo and Yvonne Matthews of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; grandchildren, Todd Goodall (Tina) of Atlanta, Georgia, Toby Matthews (Cessie) of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Kerry McDonald (Shonna) of Lees Summit, Mo and Lori Lawson (Mike) of Lees Summit, Mo; 8 great-grandchildren (Tanen, Taver, Nate, Hunter, Giovanni, Luke, Noah, and Skye) as well as many other loving family members and a host of good friends. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of South Haven Baptist Church and the Men's Front Porch coffee and pie club. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the South Haven Baptist Church.
