WILMA JEAN WHITSON

Wilma Jean Whitson, 90, of Overland Park, KS passed away April 17, 2013. Visitation will be held April 23, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 Foxwood Drive, Raymore, MO with a graveside service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Elk City, KS on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother! Jean is survived by her husband of 56 years Vernon E. Whitson, and two sons Glen L. Burrington Jr., and Donald E. Whitson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra L. Campbell. Jean was very proud of her family, having 11 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. She was a caring, and loving woman who was loved in return by everyone she knew. Possessed with a selfless spirit, always giving and serving others she eased the pain of many by preparing amazing meals, or simply offering her time and personal care to make sure needs were met.
