William E. Holiman, Jr., 78, of Independence, Missouri passed away March 25, 2010 at Kansas City Veterans Hospital. He was born October 11, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of William E. and Gladys M. Brents Holiman. Memorial services 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 6-7 PM. Memorials may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital. He was a Korean Army Veteran, Debit Agent for American General and a famous steel guitar player. He married Esther V. Smith November 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri. He is survived by his wife Esther Holiman; son, Jerry L. Epperson and wife Judy; 3 sisters, Mary Lile, Connie Smith and Joyce Hogoboom; 2 brothers, David Holiman and Phillip Holiman and several grandchildren.
