BILL DOOLEY
William "Bill" David Dooley, age 59, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, July 17, 2021.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held with a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.
In addition, a memorial mass for Bill will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Church of Saint Mary Catholic Church, 201 E Illinois Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045. After the mass, please join the family for a reception at Louie's Restaurant, 1009 North Ave, Waukegan IL 60085.
**Due to the continued concern regarding COVID-19 the family has requested that if you are not feeling well to please consider not attending these services and instead leave condolences online or reach out to the family when you are feeling better. Thank you for your efforts in helping others stay safe. In addition, all attendees to Bill's service will be required to wear a face mask while in the funeral home at all times.
Bill was born in Miami, Florida on February 25, 1962 to James W. Dooley and Elaine (Elliott) Dooley. On November 9, 1987, Bill was joined in marriage with his wife Susan (Bradtke) and together they raised four children. His family was the center and focus and joy of his life. He enjoyed his work and was very good at it. Always full of love and laughter, Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, exercising, and listening to music. Every Tuesday, Bill would enjoy meeting with his friends for poker at the Outlaw Cigar in Overland Park.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, James W. Dooley. He leaves behind his loving wife of over thirty-three years, Susan Dooley; children, Stefanie Grunwald (Kevin), Caitlyn Martinez (Evan), Ryan Dooley, and Declan Dooley; mother, Elaine Dooley; siblings, James Dooley Jr., Lisa Trace (David), Patrick Dooley (Dawn), and Tim Dooley (Josie); ten grandchildren, Sophie, Owen, William, Oliver, Amelia, Elliott, Theodore, Piper, Violet, Charlotte, and another on the way.
His intelligence, irreverent sense of humor, and his joyful personality leave loving and happy memories with his entire extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the ALS Association Mid-America Chapter, 6405 Metcalf Ave., Mission, Kansas 66202 and Adopt Rescue Foster @ adoptrescuefoster.org.
