William (Bill) R Dawson, 90, Belton, MO, died October 23, 2015, at Beautiful Savior, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 6-8 PM Monday October 26, 2015 at Cullen Funeral Home.


Bill was born July 31, 1925 in Brownfield, MO to AA Dawson and Malissa Lone Brownfield Dawson, and had 3 brothers. Bill graduated from SMS University and worked at Dodson Insurance as an accountant, and retired to his farm in Belton, MO in 1991. Bill married Alice M. Gracheck on May 2, 1959, and had two children. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and lovely wife, Alice, who passed on November 13, 1999.

Bill is survived by his son Jeff (Christie) of Belton, MO daughter Myra (Brad) of Butler, granddaughters Reba and Jennifer, several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Family requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to The Good Shepard Hospice, FFA, 4H, or a charity of your choice in Bill Dawson's name.
