WILLIAM E. BLACK

William E. Black, age 84, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on October 17, 2018 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

A Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday October 21, 2018 with a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. An Interment will be held at 1:15 p.m. at the Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mason's Give A Heart Foundation, 942 Old Mill Rd., Raymore, Missouri 64083.

William was born on July 23, 1934 in Kirksville, Missouri. He was the son of Edward E. Black and Ollie F. Horton.

Growing up, William was one of three children, Rosie and Ruth.

After high school, William enlisted and proudly served his country in the United States Army. In 1957 William was joined in marriage with his wife Anne Marie. Together they were blessed with three sons, Ron, Terry, and Mitchell. William was an active member of the Lion's Club in Kansas City and for nine years worked for General Motors as a Manufacturing Manager, owning his own business and retiring in 2001.

William is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Ollie Black.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Anne Marie Black; three sons, Ron Black (Lisa), Terry Black (Kim), and Mitchell Black (Shelly); eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two sisters, Rosie Dockum (Burl), and Ruth Mack.
