IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William "Bill" B.
Osthoff
August 22, 1962 – February 19, 2026
William “Bill” B. Osthoff
August 22, 1962 – February 19, 2026
William “Bill” Osthoff, 63, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, at Belton Regional Hospital, with his wife and sister by his side.
Bill was born August 22, 1962, in Columbia, Missouri, to William T. Osthoff and Sandra (Russell) Osthoff. He graduated from Raytown South High School in 1980, where he played on the golf team, and later attended college at Mizzou to study engineering before finding his true path in the commercial printing industry. As a printing estimator, Bill was known for his reliability, sharp eye for detail, and the relationships he built over the years.
In his younger years, Bill loved music and played guitar in bands throughout junior high and high school. After a motorcycle accident in 2003 that nearly cost him his right arm, he was no longer able to play guitar — but his love of music never left him. In recent years, with the encouragement of his granddaughter, he taught himself to play the ukulele, proving that determination and love can overcome even the toughest setbacks.
Bill will be remembered most for his humor, his stories, and his loyalty to the people he loved. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, whether he was trading one-liners by the pool, helping a friend through a tough time, or sharing a story that somehow got better every time he told it. He was an honorary member — and proud “moral officer” — of the Booze Brothers Racing Team in Raymore, where his encouragement and laughter were part of the team’s spirit.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Martha Tucci (Osthoff), his sons and their families: Bobby Osthoff and his wife, Keisha, and their children, Rory and Archie; and James Osthoff, Brianna, and their daughter, Rylee. He is also survived by his sister, Suzie Osthoff; his niece, Britt (Osthoff) Greashaber, and her husband, Cole Greashaber; his stepsister, Karee Karnes; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held March 7, 2026, at Saddlecreek Stable and Vineyard in Raytown, Missouri. More details will be shared soon.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bill’s name to the Printing Industries of America’s Nolan Moore Education Foundation, supporting education and workforce development in the printing industry: https://piamidam.org/nolan-moore/
Bill’s laughter, kindness, resilience, and love for his family will be deeply missed, but the stories,
music, and memories he shared will stay with us always.
