WILLIAM G. "BILL" HOPPEN

William G. "Bill" Hoppen, 82, of Raymore, Missouri passed away June 1, 2011. He was born February 27, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Henry and Pearl Beech Hoppen. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Lord of Love Lutheran Church 8306 E. 171st Street Belton, Missouri with visitation 10-11. Burial will be in Belton Cemetery. Family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials to Wayside Waifs or Lord of Love Lutheran Church. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth, brother Kenneth, and sister Margaret. He is survived by his niece, Deborah Randolph and husband J.D., and sister in law, Berniece Hoppen, and great niece, Jenna Hoppen. Bill was a WWII Marine and Air Force Veteran, member of Lord of Love Lutheran Church, retired from Bendix in the early 90's, was on Board of Directors at Research Belton Hospital for several years and served on the Raymore City Council.
