WILLIAM E. BEAVER

William "Bill" E. Beaver, age 95, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away April 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at home.

A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024, with rosary at 9:45 a.m. at St. Sabina Catholic Church 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Beaver Cemetery in Seligman, Missouri with military honors.

Bill was born in Seligman, Missouri on March 18, 1929, the son of John C. Beaver and Lou A. Johnson. After graduating college with his associate degree, Bill served his country in the United State Air Force and retired after twenty-seven years. He worked for the civil service as a budget office for many years. Bill later met Emma L. Kempster and were later married on November 10, 1979. Bill was a member of St. Sabina Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus where he was a past grand knight. Bill and Emma loved to travel the country. Bill was an avid reader and loved to collect rocks.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lou Beaver; and all ten of his siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Emma L. Beaver; seven children, Robert E. Beaver (Lisa), Margaret "Peggy" Nania (John), Roberta Heil, Rebecca Deluca (Mark), Roger Baylor (Shelley), Mona Neighbors (Parish), and Robert J. Baylor; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
