WALTER L. COLE

Walter L. Cole, age 66, of Belton, Missouri, passed away at home on June 27, 2019.

A Celebration of Walter's life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Walter was born on October 14, 1953 in Anchorage, Alaska. He was the son of Edwin C. Cole and Marilyn L. Schonauer. Throughout his youth and into adulthood, Walter was raised by Edwin and Ruth Cole. After graduating high school, he served his country in the United States Marine Corps before creating a successful career for himself as a mechanist working for thirty years. In life Walter was blessed with a son, Jeffrey Cole (Jarah Almahasheer) and two daughters, Alexis Moles (Michael) and Lindsey Cole. In addition to the love Walter had for his children and grandson, Walter also was an avid fisherman and loved cars.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Ruth Cole; and birth mother, Marilyn Schonauer.

He is survived by his three loving children, Jeffrey Cole (Jarah Almahasheer), Alexis Moles (Michael), and Lindsey Cole; sister, Jane Hoyt; grandson, Bentley Cole; and many other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
