VIVIAN L. ROWDEN
Vivian L. Rowden, 87, of Belton, MO, formerly of Kansas City, KS, passed away March 2nd, 2016, at her home in Carnegie Village of Belton, MO, surrounded by her genuinely loving family.
Funeral service will begin at Noon, Friday, March 4th, 2016 at Cullen Funeral Home with Visitation from 11-Noon.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, William L. Dixon, Sr. and Maco Madge (Coffman) Dixon; Two brothers, William Dixon, Jr., and Dean D. Dixon.
She is survived by her husband Donald D. Rowden (67 years of marriage!); three sons, Jimmy M. Rowden (Darnell), Jerry L. Rowden (Pamela), and Jack K. Rowden (Teresa); Five grandchildren, Elizabeth King (Matt), Paul Rowden, Justin Rowden, Brooke and Grace Rowden; Four great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Sean, Taylor, and Lindsey.
Vivian was born March 13th, 1928 in Kansas City, KS to William and Maco Madge Dixon. Vivian was a high school graduate, married the love of her life, Donald D. Rowden, on September 10th, 1948; and to this union, three sons were born. Vivian also worked as a Secretary in banking. Vivian was a member of Raymore Christian Church; and also a member of Eastern Star.
Vivian's family would like to send a special thanks to the staff of Carnegie Village, and to Continuum Care Hospice for their gracious and attentive care of Vivian.
