VIRGINIA L. GOUCHER

Virginia L. Goucher, 79, of Raymore, MO passed away January 31, 2017 at the Kansas City Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2017 at Belton Christian Church 409 Airway Ln, Belton, Missouri with visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Belton Cemetery, Belton, Missouri.

Virginia was born June 16, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was the daughter of Leroy and Lula (Lewis) Herron. Virginia was one of their four daughters. On May 27, 1960 she was united in marriage to Lyle A. Goucher and together they enjoyed 56 wonderful years of marriage. They were blessed with two daughters, Lori and Sara.

Virginia had a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi, Live Wires Square Dance Club, Missouri Retired Teachers Association (MRTA) and an active member of the Belton Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Lyle A. Goucher; two daughters, Lori L. Goucher (Christopher Quinn) and Sara M. Given (Robert); three sisters, Elizabeth Sumner, Winifred Hartley and Merna Ware; three grandchildren, Lauren Quinn, Riley and Cole Given.
