VIRGINIA GEAN CONATY
Virginia Gean Conaty, 86, of Raymore, MO passed away April 29, 2011 at Foxwood Springs Living Center in Raymore, Missouri. She was born November 15, 1924 in Tiverton, Rhode Island, the daughter of Frederic and Jane McCrossan Perry. Gean had two sisters, Marion Crosby and Dorothy Goodrick which preceded her in death. She moved to Missouri in 1948 and received an associate degree in business administration in 1980. Gean moved to Raymore in 1985 because she loved the country and wanted to live on acreage. Memorial Mass will be 6:00 PM Friday May 6, 2011 at St. Sabina Catholic Church, Belton, Missouri. She is survived by her sons, Robert Conaty and Michael Alewel; and two grandchildren, Jared Crowe and Perry Alewel. Gean was a member of St. Sabina Catholic Church and worked for the Raymore Chamber of Commerce for several years, after retiring as a compliance investigator for the United States Government.
