VIOLET DORINE McCARTY

Violet Dorine McCarty, age 94, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a brief time of family sharing at 11:30 a.m.

Dorine was born In Kansas City, Missouri on June 2, 1929 to Ray Clutter and Violet (Stackhouse) Clutter. Dorine graduated high school and for many years worked for Allied Signal. Up towards retirement she was working as a supervisor. In life, Dorine was a member of the Country Side Bible Church in Peculiar, Missouri. She loved traveling, crocheting, swimming, and most recently playing cards.

Dorine was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Violet Clutter; husband, Robert McCarty; daughter, Glenda Guthridge; brother, Bob Clutter; and sister, Dorothy Sheeley.

She is survived by her two sons, Paul McCarty (Mary) and Robert McCarty (Richelle); seven grandchildren, Amy Jo, Jake, Jacob, Hannah, Danika, Miyah, and Josiah; and eight great grandchildren, Samantha, Danielle, Madelyn, Michael, Kaitlyn, Emily, Nicole and Miles.
