VIOLET L. LONG
Violet L. Long, 87, of East Lynne, MO passed June 4, 2014. Memorial service will be 6 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Cullen Funeral Home. Violet was born October 22, 1926 in Acme, New Mexico, the daughter of Thomas and Irenna Stephens Cothern. She worked as a certified nurse's aide for home health care for many years. Violet was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William H. Long and son, Russell H. Long. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon G. Walsh (Dean); sons, Vern E. Long (Linda), Timothy R. Long and Rick W. Long; brother, Henry Dalton Cothern; 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
