VERNON W. WEDOW

Vernon W. Wedow, 78, of Belton, MO passed away May 7, 2016. Celebration of Life will be 6-7 PM Thursday, May12, 2016 at Cullen Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association 6800 93rd St, Overland Park, KS 66212. Vernon was born October 24, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Allan and Velma (Simpson) Wedow. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ann Wedow and brother, Eddie Wedow. He is survived by his two daughters, Terrie Hall (Tim) and Dana Marie Longo; five grandchildren, Richard, Jack, Michael, Alexandria and Samantha. Vernon had graduated with his master's in education and computers. He worked as a salesman for a computer company and was a member of the Lion's Club and Senior Citizen Dancing Club.
