VERNA RUTH SHELTON
Verna Ruth Shelton, 77, of Grandview, Missouri passed away October 27, 2011. Graveside will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Belton Cemetery with visitation 6-8 PM Friday, October 28, 2011 at Cullen Funeral Home. Verna was born January 26, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Vernon Helverson and Eva Ruth Murray. Verna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; daughter, Eva Joyce; son, Calvin. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Copeland; sister, Joyce Connaway; six grandchildren, Matt and Jessie Peterson, Tammy and Mike Dalton, Casey and Zachary Copeland; ten great grandchildren, Camian, Rachel, Amber, Lilly, Emma, Noah, Kingston, Cicely, Gabe and Maddie.
