VERNA MARIE LEBLANC
Verna Marie LeBlanc (Champagne), born 1932, peacefully passed at the Beautiful Savior Home in Belton MO on 30 June 2023.
Verna was a devout Christian and child of God. She was predeceased by her siblings Doris, Edward and Arthur. She is survived by her brother Johnny, seven children (first and middle names) James Clarence, Linda Marie, Carol Ann, Michael Joseph, Gary Paul, Lee David, Connie Francis and her 22 (twenty-two) grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Born and raised in Breaux Bridge Louisiana, Verna was married to an Air Force Airman, the late Clarence James, and lived in numerous US locations, Germany and Okinawa while chasing and raising 7 children. Verna enjoyed playing golf, dancing, and had a zest for life.
It is Verna's desire in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project thru their online site www.woundedwarriorproject.org .
Verna's Celebration of Life is set for Monday, 25 September 2023 at the Memorial Station (inside Belton Park), 602 Maurer Parkway, 11:00a.m.
