Obituary

TRACEY LYNN DAVIDSON

Tracey Lynn Davidson, age 44, of Lee's Summit, Missouri passed away on January 24, 2022 in Lee's Summit, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 25, 1977, in Tucson, Arizona, the daughter of James (Jim) S. Stout III and Opal M. Larose.

Tracey served in the United States Navy on the USS John C. Stennis aircraft carrier and was deployed in the Middle East during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2001 with her squadron VFA-146. She served as an Aviation Electrician, working on F/A-18C Hornet combat aircraft and completed her service with an honorable discharge as a Petty Officer Second Class (E5).

After her military service, Tracey graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Minor in Statistics. Upon completion of her degree, Tracey worked in Mainframe Performance and Capacity Planning. She began her career at YRC Worldwide in Kansas City and later held the position of Assistant Vice President at US Bank.

Tracey was passionate about her children above all else and was known to all as the most kind, caring, silly, and giving person they had the honor of knowing. Tracey's love of her children was paramount, and they were her greatest pride. She supported both Corban and Sydney in everything they pursued from never missing Sydney's cheer practices or tournaments to every one of Corban's orchestra performances. Tracey's applause always drowned out all others. Additionally, Tracey was an active volunteer for Project Uplift, and a member of the Kansas City SAS Users Group.

Tracey is survived by her children, Corban and Sydney, her father, Jim (Pam) Stout of Pleasant Hill, her mother, Opal Larose of Lee's Summit, her sister, Kelley (Jeff) Daniels of Lee's Summit as well as her nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

A service of remembrance will be held following a visitation on Saturday, February 5 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 310 Johnston Parkway, Raymore, Missouri. The visitation will be from 10-11am, the service from 11-12pm with a luncheon after the service. A private family burial will follow.

Anyone wishing to make memorial contributions may do so to the education funds for Corban and Sydney. Contributions may be made by check, payable to Learning Quest, and sent to P.O. Box 29202, Shawnee Mission, KS 66201-9202. Please notate Corban and/or Sydney Davidson and the amount for each on the check's memo line.
