Tina was born January 13, 1960 at the Bethany Medical Center Hospital in Kansas City, KS. She was the daughter of Marion F. and Donna L. Malone.
Tina was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Raymond and Viola Malone and her maternal grandparents, the late Rev. Gordon and Delores Mullin, founders of the Armocerdale Tabernacle, as well as her father-in-law, the late Rev. Ross H. Green.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Rev./Pastor Terry R. Green of Gravois Mills, MO; two daughters, Tara L. Green of Overland Park, KS and Tiffany D. Jones and husband Christopher of Belton, MO; parents, Marion and Donna Malone of Gravois Mills, MO; brother, Damon Malone; niece, Haley Malone; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends through the U.S.
Tina lived most of her life in the K.C. area. She attended the S.W. High School, yet graduated from the Turner School District in K.C. KS.
Tina married her husband Terry in 1977 and from that union came two of the most wonderful daughters ever given to two parents. She deeply and passionately loved her family. Her life was centered in her Lord Jesus Christ, Church, her girls, husband, mother, father and family.
Tina was a most wonderful homemaker. She loved to decorate, cook, entertain guest, shop, fish and spend time with those she loved.
Tina served alongside her husband Terry for 30 plus years in Ministry at the Belton Assembly of God (as associates) then as Senior Pastor at the First Assembly of God in Nevada, MO, as well as Senior Pastors at the Raymore Assembly of God in Raymore, MO.
While in Nevada, MO she obtained a degree in Cosmetology from the Ft. Scott Community College. She loved doing hair especially family members. As a pastor's wife she loved doing banquets whether it was Mothers and Daughters and especially Christmas banquets. She was 2nd to none when it came to decorating.
She loved serving alongside her husband in feeding the needy and less fortunate. She always made sure people had plenty of food especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She never wanted to see people go without, especially little children. Tina and Terry made sure children had a Christmas and would rather give it away than keep it for themselves.
She loved teaching children about Jesus Christ and we are most assured that she has and always will be a spiritual influence to the many that she taught. She served in the area of Nursery Care, Women's Ministry, Children's Ministry and Secretary to her husband Terry. Yet she always made sure that the needs of her husband and daughters were taken care of. She had a love and passion of singing whether it was a solo or a duet with Terry.
After leaving the Raymore, MO area in 2012 she served alongside her husband as an Evangelist preacher, preaching in churches in various cities and states. It was very, very seldom that Tina was apart from Terry.
She was most passionate about her Lord, her family and her friends. She said in her latter days that if she had a bucket list the very 1st thing on it would to be in Church. She had a tenacious approach to life with many encouraging and positive spirit and a kind word for everyone that caused everyone to want to be in her company. She has left a great legacy to her girls and family and those she has mentored throughout the years; that will continue to affect generations to come.
Tina will be missed by her husband, her daughters, her mother and father and family as well as her in-laws and friends. She will be missed by her two boys, "Bubba and Ty" (Maltese Dogs) that loved her so very much.
Tina will be missed, but she will never be forgotten. We long for the day on which she will reunite with those she loved, that place, that house for the redeemed, that place called Heaven!
