TIMOTHY R. WARDER

Timothy was born on Monday, January 1, 1968 in Pensacola, Florida. He was the son of Robert A. Warder and Dora M. (Logan) Warder. During high school he was part of the Jazz and Concert band. After graduating from high school, Tim attended college at DeVry University while working, being a husband and a father. He worked in the information technology industry for 20+ years as a Database Administrator.

Tim was known as coach, mentor and friend to many and for his devotion and love to his family.

Tim spent his adult life either playing hockey or coaching hockey. He taught both his son and daughter to skate and play hockey. Some of the kids he coached grew up to play with him on an adult league, including his son Logan. Tim played hockey two or three times a week and if he wasn't playing, he was watching. He enjoyed traveling for tournaments and some of his best memories were from playing pond hockey. Tim had just finished a 3 day hockey tournament with his son. His teammates will always remember his mentoring and coaching.

Tim also taught his wife to skate and play hockey and she convinced him to pass his knowledge on to the Roller Derby Community. He helped coach Roller Derby for the Kansas City Roller Warriors. The roller derby girls remember he showed up in rollerblades and an armful of hockey medals, he said he could help them to become National Champions. He touched so many skaters with his positive coaching style, his belief in their abilities and his big bear hugs. "Work together, skate as one!"

He will always be remembered as an influential member of the hockey and derby community.

He put his heart and soul into everything he did. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pandora; his son, Logan Warder, his daughter, Haley Warder (Clarence Cramer, Jr.); his stepdaughter, Jade Thomas; his parents, Robert and Dora; two brothers, Robert L. Warder (Sara) and Troy A. Warder (Nichole); nieces and nephews, Zoe, Amanda, Cole, Blake, and Molli, Gabrielle, Layla, Atticus; and one grandson, Clarence Cramer III.
