THOMAS E. WALTER
Thomas E. Walter, 72, of Peculiar, MO went home to be with his Lord on September 1, 2013. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Blue River Bible Church with visitation 6-8 PM Friday at Cullen Funeral Home. He was born March 29, 1941 in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada, son of Chester E. & Melba C. (Davenport) Walter. He married Sharon E. White of Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 20, 1962. As a young boy he accepted Christ as his personal Savior & from then on he loved to tell people of his Lord. After 25 years with the Kansas City Police Department he retired in 1991, afterwards he worked as Chief of Security for Raymore-Peculiar School Distract & Mid-America Nazarene University. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Sharon; sons, Timothy & wife Keineth, of Carl Junction, MO, Mark & wife Julia of Farmington Hills, MI; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Katelyn, Brianna, Keri, Zachary, Brett, Allison & Jessica. Tom will be remembered for his joyful spirit, being a stickler for details, his ability to teach the word of God, & for the lives he has touched. Tom loved the Lord with all his heart so in lieu of flowers please send a gift to a mission organization or missionary of your choice.
