Thomas L. Vantrees, 65, of Lee's Summit, Missouri passed away September 2, 2023 at Life Care Center in Grandview, Missouri.

He was born May 9, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1977. He worked at Lakewood Oaks Golf Club until 2011.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Lori Vantrees of Lee's Summit, MO; daughter, Jamie DeMoss and husband Brian and two grandchildren of Peculiar, MO; brother-in-law, Richard Kerr of Raymore, MO; sisters, Martha Davis and husband Alan of Independence, MO, and Linda Vantrees of Independence, MO; brother, Donald Vantrees of Independence, MO; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Josephine Vantrees; and sister, Donna Siems.

Thomas was cremated per his wishes.
