THOMAS A. GUDENKAUF

Thomas A. Gudenkauf, age 71, of Belton, Missouri, passed away November 4, 2016 at the Kindred Hospital. Visitation will be 6-8:00 PM Wednesday, November 9th at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday, November 10th at St. Sabina Catholic Church 700 Trevis Ave. Belton, MO with burial in Belton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor 8745 James A Reed Rd, Raytown, MO 64138.

Thomas was born September 4, 1945 in Topeka, Kansas. He was the son of Thomas and Helen Maxine (Koch) Gudenkauf. On May 8, 1965, Thomas was united in marriage to Judith C. Robinson. Together they were blessed with three children, Christine, Larry and Edward.

Thomas was the president and founder of Unique Label ever since they opened in 1979 until the present. He was a member of the Model T and Model A Clubs, Shay International, Belton Chamber of Commerce and St. Sabina Catholic Church.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lori Ann Gudenkauf; and two brothers, Daniel Joseph and Darrell Ray Gudenkauf.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy C. Gudenkauf; daughter, Christine M. Ihde (Ed); two sons, Larry T. Gudenkauf (Stacy) and Edward T. Gudenkauf (Christy); brothers, Steve Gudenkauf (Debbie) and Mike Gudenkauf (Sheryl); sister, Barbara Davis (Dennis); two sister in-laws, Linda and Tami Gudenkauf; 12 grandchildren, Kosta, Kate (Kyle), Alexander, Grace, Luke, Andrew, Zack, Tucker, Hailey, Joe, Jake and Emma; and one great-granddaughter, Adeline.
