TERESA M. CABLE

Teresa M. Cable, age 63, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. following visitation and a burial will be held at Belton Cemetery in Belton, Missouri immediately after mass.

Teresa was born in Vinita, Oklahoma on September 2, 1956 to Lewis Bays and Maryann (Schwartz) Bays. Teresa grew up one of six children including Dana, Mark, Donald, Martin and Karl. After graduating high school Teresa furthered her education, receiving an associate degree from Longview College. In the fall of 1977, Teresa was joined in marriage with her late husband Gary "Barney" Cable on October 8 ^th . Together they were blessed with two daughters, Crystal and Holly. In life Teresa worked many years as an accountant for the Bank of Belton, was a member of St. Sabina Catholic Church, loved spending time with her family especially on Christmas, and had a passion for interior design.

Teresa was preceded in death by her loving husband of over thirty-six years, Gary Wayne "Barney" Cable; mother, Maryann Bays; and sister, Dana Rose Bays.

She is survived by her two daughters, Crystal Cable and Holly Keeton (Greg Keeton); father, Lewis Valmer Bays; four brothers, Mark Edward Bays, Donald Glen Bays, Martin Lewis Bays (Teresa Bradly Bays) and Karl Anthony Bays (Brandy Bays); and three grandchildren, Mason Johnston, Mackenzie Keeton and Lucy Keeton.
