SYLVIA H. STARKEY

Sylvia H. Starkey, age 73, of Raymore, Missouri passed away at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri on August 2, 2018.

A Visitation Service will be held at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083 on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Lee's Summit First Church of the Nazarene, 900 SW Lakeview Blvd. Lee's Summit, Missouri 64081 on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with a interment to follow at the Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.

Sylvia was born on April 22, 1945 in Sandersville, Georgia to her father, Eugene Harrell and her         mother, Cora Davis. On September 28, 1969 Sylvia was united in marriage with her husband,   C. Kenneth Starkey and were blessed with their son, Charles. Sylvia received her Bachelor's Degree in accounting and for over forty years worked as an accountant, most recently for Starkey and Co. LLC located in Belton, Missouri.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Cora Harrell.

She is survived by her husband C. Kenneth Starkey; son Charles Starkey (wife, Leslie); two grandchildren, David and Kayla; three sisters, Barbara Cote (husband, Armand), Annette Venable, and Mary Jane Griffis (husband, John); as well as many nieces and nephews.
