SYLVIA JEAN NIERMEIER

Sylvia Jean Niermeier, age 69, of Belton, MO, passed away April 14, 2016 at Belton Regional Medical Center. Memorial service begins at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, at Saved By Grace Fellowship of Raymore, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family or to the United Cerebral Palsy of Greater KC, 3100 Broadway Suite 300, KCMO, 64111.

Sylvia was born August 19, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. She was the daughter of William F. Crane and Sylvia Mae (Myers) Crane.

Sylvia married her sweetheart, Rodney J. Niermeier and together they shared over 44 years of marriage.

Sylvia was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, and Sylvia was also a friend. She will be remembered with love and honor by all who knew her.

Sylvia Jean Niermeier was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Patty Sapp; and her granddaughter, Kristen Whitehead.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rodney J. Niermeier; one son, Christopher Beerbower (Christina); two daughters, Karena Sheets (Bobby), and Lori Rowe (Josh); one brother, Robert Crane (Hazel); nine grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua, Heather, Kelsey, Amber, Dallas, Nicole, Tyler, and Laney; and two great-grandchildren.
