SUSAN (SUE) L. RUECKER
Susan (Sue) L. Ruecker, 63, of Raymore, MO passed away November 13, 2010 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Services will be 2pm Saturday, November 27th at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 1-2pm. Susan was born December 9, 1946 in Maywood, California, the daughter of Bud and Helen Bauer Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Peggy Breen and brother, Bud Smith. She is survived by her husband, Frank of Raymore, MO; two sons, Kirk Downey and daughter in law, Charlotte of Sydney, Australia, Kraig Downey and daughter in law, Heather of Bellevue, Nebraska; three dearly loved granddaughters, Tayler, Makensie, and Melissa; sister, Linda Morse of Grants Pass, Oregon; sister, Janet Schultz of Flagstaff, Arizona; step-mom, Fran Garlow of Cathedral City, California; step-daughters, Kim Gibson and Keri Palmer of Omaha, Nebraska. Sue spent most of her life as an insurance underwriter for a number of different companies. She held several different insurance titles. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the KC Hospice House or Way Side Waifs 3901 Martha Truman Rd., KCMO 64137 www.waysidewaifs.org or The Nebraska Humane Society.
