STANISLAW J. ZAWADA

Stanislaw "Stan" J. Zawada, age 82, of Belton, Missouri passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in his home.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A graveside service will follow immediately at Belton Cemetery in Belton, Missouri.

Stan was born in Bielsko-Biala, Poland on April 15, 1938 to Karl and Rozalia Zawada. After graduating high school, Stan furthered his education. In 1965, Stan met his late wife, Ewa (Kotowski) and the two were joined in marriage on November 11, 1967 sharing over fifty years of marriage. Through this marriage they were blessed with two sons, Mariusz "Mark" and Andrzej "Jesse" Zawada.

In 1980 Stan's family relocated to Austria, and in 1983 they immigrated to the United States. Stan was a certified Master Technician and created a career for himself as a carpenter owning his own shop. He was always a hard working man and would do what was needed to provide for his family. He most recently worked at Mid-States Mill Work, where he retired from. In Kansas City Stan was a member of the Polish Community, taking much pride in his heritage. In life Stan enjoyed snow skiing, wood working, good vodka, and traveling. Since 2018 Stan has lived with his son Mark in Belton, making it much easier for him to enjoy spending time with his grandchildren.

Stan was preceded in death by his loving wife of over fifty years, Ewa Zawada; and parents, Karl and Rozalia Zawada. He leaves behind his two sons, Mariusz "Mark" Zawada and his wife Leisa of Belton, Missouri, and Andrzej "Jesse" Zawada and his wife Regina of Raymore, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Abigail, Alex, Devin, and Brennen Zawada.
