SHIRLEY A. MCWILIAMS

Shirley A. McWilliams, 80, of Raymore Mo passed away September 5th, 2015 at Foxwood Springs Living Center.

Visitation will be 6-7pm. Memorial service 7pm. Friday September 11, 2015 at Cullen Funeral Home in Raymore, MO.

Shirley was born July 17, 1935 in Lawson, Arkansas, the daughter of Cleve and Nettie Ward. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ruth Murray and husband of 61 years, Marvin. Shirley is survived by her 3 sons, Jerry McWilliams and wife Dawn, Bruce McWilliams and wife Debi, and Bert McWilliams; sisters, Doris Hampton and Lucille Jerry; 8 grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Kristin, Corey, Nicholas, Nathaniel, Daniel, Andrew; 3 great grandchildren, Elise, Layne and Jake.

Shirley enjoyed taking care of the home and doing volunteer work at her church. She enjoyed quilting in the home and also with her quilting group, Quilts of Hope Ministry, at First Baptist Church. Her life was guided by her faith as a member of East Main Baptist Church in El Dorado Arkansas, Noland Road Baptist Church in Independence MO, and First Baptist Church in Texas City, TX.

She enjoyed cooking and sharing her quilts with others. She was faithful and served God, her family and friends. Her journey on earth is complete. Shirley will now share a grand room in heaven with her husband. Shirley is loved by her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
