SHIRLEY CORDER

Shirley Corder, age 87, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Cullen Funeral Home 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Shirley was born on September 26, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of John and Joyce Donnelly. Shirley was one of 13 children including John, Denny, Jerry, Frances, Catherine, Tom, Brenda, Nancy, Mary Jo, Patty, Cleo, and Jim.

On June 3rd, 1952 Shirley was joined in marriage with her late husband, Kenneth L. Corder Sr. Together they were blessed with two sons, Ken Jr. and Robert. For eight years Shirley worked as a switchboard operator for AT&T. As a woman of Catholic faith, Shirley was a member of Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Parish in Grandview, Missouri. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.  In life she very much enjoyed spoiling her children and grandchildren. She also loved her favorite television shows.

Shirley is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Kenneth Corder Sr.; parents, John and Joyce Donnely; son Ken L. Corder Jr.; and sister Catherine Davis.

She is survived by her loving son, Robert J. Corder; eleven brothers and sisters, John Donnelly, Denny Donnelly (Sue), Jerry Donnelly, Frances Croll, Tommy Donnelly, Brenda Farrell (David), Nancy Enquist (Ed), Mary Jo Pepperdine (John), Patty Mynatt (Gene), Cleo Unterreinner (Jerry) and Jimmy Donnelly; six grandchildren, Jason Corder (Carie), Jill Anderson (Shaun), Joy Yenzer (Jeff), Kelly Corder, Katie Woods (Clint), and Robbie Corder (Christina) and seven great grandchildren Addison, Chase, Colton, Dax, Kennison, Mason and Dalton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Coronation of Our Lady Parish, 13000 Bennington Ave., Grandview, Missouri 64030 or the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, Missouri 64105.
