SHERRY A. DORIES

Sherry A. Dories, age 63, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 5:00 p.m.

Sherry was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 22, 1959 to Keith Johnson and Retha (Schmidt) Johnson. Sherry worked for many years as a manager at North Cass Office Supply. She was joined in marriage with her husband Robert Dories on April 17, 1987. In life, Sherry was a woman of Baptist faith and was a member at the Ruskin Heights Baptist church. She loved drinking her morning coffee while watching the squirrels and birds with her family as well as playing Yahtzee.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Retha Johnson; son, Christopher MacLeod; and brother Steven Johnson.

She is survived by her husband Robert Dories; son, Steven MacLeod; two daughters, Christina Pettet (Jason) and Kristin Dories; sisters, Deborah Wieseman, Johnna Johnston (Robert), and Michele Daugherty; six grandchildren, Cassidy, Seth, Zoey, Phenix, Seriph, and Easton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family c/o Kristin Dories.
