SHARON LYNNE OLSON

Sharon Lynne Olson, age 81, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at home.

Sharon was born on February 14, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska to Clifford and Lucille Brazzle. Growing up, Sharon was one of seven children. In 1963, Sharon graduated from the Nebraska School for the Deaf where she played basketball. She continued her education receiving her Associate degree from Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. For forty-three years, Sharon worked for the Internal Revenue Service. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and grandmother and never left without saying "I love you."

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Lucille Brazzle; son, Paul Binkley (9/17/1983); husband, Thomas H. Olson (8/3/2006); and brother, Gary A. Brazzle (12/16/2016).

She is survived by her children, Lita Hood, Bink Binkley, and Jean Binkley; six grandchildren, Codey Binkley Sr., Hailey Binkley, Joshua Hood, Aaron Hood, Cyel Binkley-Coates, and Kayla Binkley-Coates; ten great grandchildren, Codey Binkley Jr., Airiana Binkley, Cloe Binkley, Haia Binkley, Henry Hood, Lucy Hood, AJ Hood, Rhett Hood, Kaylee Cooper, and Olivia Cooper; and five siblings, Phillip Brazzle, James Brazzle, Dale Brazzle, Sue Newland, and Ricky Brazzle.
