SHARON DEE COSSINS

Sharon Dee Cossins, age 93, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, at her daughter's home.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16th, 2025, at Cullen Funeral Home, Inc., 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Sharon was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 27, 1932, the eldest daughter of John Wymore and Dorothy McCahon. In life, she worked for several years at the law firm Van Hooser Olsen & Parkinson as well as at Red Bridge Mercantile Bank. She was a long-time member of Raymore First Baptist Church and the Raymore Lions Club. Sharon was an exceptional seamstress and quilter. She loved playing golf, dancing and card games, but most of all she loved being with family.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Wymore; her first husband, Donald R. Willoughby (1977); her second husband, Charles E. Cossins (2014); two brothers, Jerry Wymore (2009) and Mike Wymore (2006); son, Richard Willoughby (2015); son in-law, Don Cain (2012); two daughters, Julie Willoughby (1987) and Becky Willoughby (2008); and great grandson, Colby Willoughby (1994).

She is survived by her two daughters, Kerry Cain of Kansas City, MO and Brenda Fernandes (Jim) of Lodi, CA; step-son, Patrick Cossins; two sisters, Judy Ticknor (Bob) of IA and Pat Pressey Miller of CA; eight grandchildren, Juanita Willoughby, Lisa Riggs (Pete), Heather Tunnell (Ivan), Jacqueline Newton (Andrew), Rehanne Allen (Chuck Duarte), Whitney Cain, Jacob Cain (Rebecca), and Brian King (Kristin); 15 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
