Obituary

SHARON SUE GARRISON BROWN

Sharon Sue Garrison Brown, 71 of Peculiar, Missouri, went to be with our Lord and Savior March 25, 2016 from complications of COPD, Pneumonia, and the Flu. Sharon was very outspoken but never ill meaning. She said what she meant and she never minced words. Sharon was the glue that held it all together, and Rex gave her the love and support that she needed to run the household and family. They had a love that never waivered, and was a bar by which all marriages should be measured.

Sharon was born February 22, 1945 in Barry County, Missouri, the daughter of John W. and Viola Blanche Garrison. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex Brown of 51 years; 4 brothers, Kelly Garrison, Roland Garrison, JW Garrison, Kenny Garrison ; 5 sisters, Cora Marshal, Dorris Garrison, Norma Swinehart, Mabel Larson, Louise Massey. She is survived by her three sons, Greg Brown, (Liza Taft), Jason Brown, (Felisa Brown), and Eric Brown; one brother, John Austin Garrison and one sister Edna Lukon; seven grandchildren, Rachel, Stefan, Wyatt, Connor, Morgan, Paige, and Abby.

Sharon was a beauty operator and worked from her home for 26 years, and during that time made some wonderful friends. All who knew her loved her and loved to be invited to dinner. She was a wonderful cook and housekeeper. She was a loving and caring mother and not a day went by that did not tell her loved ones how she felt. Nothing can replace the emptiness that will be felt without her. Heaven has taken an angel from us that we will see again one day.
