SCOTT JOHN MACMILLAN

Scott John MacMillan, 30 of Raymore, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Michael and Denise MacMillan on January 12, 1981. Scott was a charismatic man, who touched many lives; to know Scott was to love Scott. His drive to help others inspired him to join the Army in hopes of making a difference, and serving and protecting his Country. He did just that, as an Army Sergeant, serving two tours in Iraq. After he returned from the Army, he continued his pursuit of helping others, and quickly obtained his EMT license and pursued his Paramedic license. Preceding him in death is his paternal grandfather, Robert MacMillan. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Denise MacMillan, Brothers Jeffrey and Joseph, Paternal Grandmother Donalda MacMillan, Maternal Grandparents, Melton and Aleatha May, Uncle's John May and Stephen MacMillan, Aunt's Jeanene Fast, Michelle MacMillan, Patty Hosfield MacMillan, Sister In-Laws, Emmy MacMillan and Ashley MacMillan, Cousins, Randi, Brittani, Allison, Michaela, Tyler, River and Dakota and his Nephew, Ethan and Niece, Audrey. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Cullen Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday December 21, 2011 at St. Sabina Catholic Church in Belton, Missouri. Burial will take place in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas at 12:30pm Wednesday. Contributions can be made to Freedom Service Dogs.
