SARA A. (O'BRIEN) ROTH
Sara A. (O'Brien) Roth went to be with the Lord on June 14, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Thursday, June 19, 2014 at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church 8941 James A Reed Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138 with visitation 5-7:30 PM Wednesday with Rosary at 7:30 PM at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Don Bosco Center 580 Campbell, Kansas City, MO 64106. Sara was born on September 26, 1941 in Kansas City, MO, to the late Dr. & Mrs. Leo O'Brien MD. She is survived by her husband David of 45 years; children, Susan Roth, Mark Roth (Cindy), Ann Roth and Natalie Jordan (Lance); two brothers, Paul O'Brien, Sr. (Mary Jo) and Larry O'Brien (Gloria); three sisters, Susan Samenus (Charlie), Teresa O'Malley (Don) and Rose Read (Dr. Edward Read); two special grandchildren, Brett & Claire who touched their Grammy's heart so much! Sara was a member of St. Regis Church for 42 years. She taught School of Religion, was involved in PTA and other activities. Sara enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening and spending time with her grandkids.
