SANDRA SUE TWEED

Sandra "Sandy" S. Tweed, age 76, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019.

A visitation service will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A burial will follow immediately at Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.

Sandy was born on June 14, 1943 in Rockford, Illinois. She was the daughter of Carl Tackett and Justine (Graybill) Tackett. After graduating high school, Sandy continued her education at Southwest Missouri State. Throughout life, Sandy worked many jobs with the majority of these being a food service manager at Raymore Elementary and a local day care facility. In the early spring of 1964, Sandy was joined in marriage with her loving husband, Jim Tweed on Easter Sunday, March 29 ^th . Together they were blessed with three sons, Michael, Mark, and Kevin. In life, Sandy very much enjoyed gardening her flowers and was a faithful member of the Fellowship Church of Raymore, formerly known as First Baptist Church of Raymore.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Tackett and Justine Tackett-Utynek; and brother in law, Dennis Madden.
