S TELANE SALING

S TeLane Saling, age 79, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

A celebration of S TeLane's life will be held with a visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.

S TeLane was born in Joplin, Missouri on January 21, 1942 to D.C. Forest Staves and Dorothy (Meyers) Staves. After graduating high school, S TeLane completed two years of higher education. She worked for many years as a statistician for United States Steel Company. More recently she worked as a tax consultant for twenty-eight years. On May 28, 1977 she was joined in marriage with her husband Charles D. Saling. S TeLane was a member of the Eastern Star in Raytown and received her fifty year pin. She also loved to shop, design furniture, and working in the shop with Charles.

S TeLane was preceded in death by her parents, D.C. Forest and Dorothy Staves. She leaves behind her loving husband of over forty-three years, Charles D. Saling; four sons, Charles M. Saling, Timothy J. Saling (Theresa), Dennis D. Saling, and Scott J. Goeking; two brothers, David C. Staves (Nancy) and Dennis C. Staves; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
