RONALD "WAYNE" LONG

Ronald "Wayne" Long, age 70, of Belton, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2018 at his residence.

Wayne was born on April 26, 1948 in Walnut Grove, Missouri and was the son of Thomas and Margie Long. Growing up, Wayne was one of three children, Howard and Delta.

After graduating from Belton High School, Wayne attended Mid-America Nazarene University where he received a degree in business management. He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After a long career in management at Durham Bus Company, he retired in 1998.

Wayne was joined in marriage to Rhonda Long. Together they were blessed with three children, Raina, Ryan, and RT.

Wayne was avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, and football.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, and his greatest joy was spending time with family.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Margie Long.

He leaves behind many beloved family members: Rhonda Long, daughter Raina Settles, sons Ryan Long and RT (Leah) Long; seven grandchildren: Johnny, Dusty, Aaralyn, Nataley, Cristian, Isaiah, and Ryan; brother Howard (Debi), sister Delta (Clinton), and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 2nd at 6:00 pm at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.
