ROGER LEE POND

Roger Lee Pond, age 73, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family members.

A memorial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Prior to the service a visitation will be held at Cullen Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Roger was born in Wichita, Kansas to George Alvin Pond and Bette Lee (Stump) Pond on August 10, 1946. He found great enjoyment in drag racing boats for many years. Roger had a great love for the outdoors, was an avid outdoorsman and a proud member of the National Rifle Association. Dearest to Roger's heart was his family and his pets.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bette Pond.

He leaves behind his loving wife of over forty-six years, Sandra (Ferguson) Pond; two daughters, Laine Scott (Michael) and Shannon Helgerud (Jon); sister Janice Rand Spence (Mark); five grandchildren, Annabelle Scott, Grace Scott, Hailey Scott, Azalea Helgerud, and Archer Helgerud; loving niece, Celina Sanchez (Paul); and two great nephews, Nickolas and Dylan Sanchez.
