ROGER M. HIME

Roger M. Hime, age 75, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 30, 2020.

A private family service will be held.

Roger was born in Carroll, Iowa on September 28, 1944 to Maurice Hime and Violet (Harris) Hime. After graduating high school Roger furthered his higher education and created for himself a successful career as a mechanical engineer. Over the years Roger worked for General Motors, Hallmark, and Pfizer. On August 8, 1964 Roger was joined in marriage with his late wife, Virginia Hime. Together they were blessed with two sons, Vincent and Phil. In life Roger was an outdoorsman at heart and loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, and construction. He was also a proud member of the NRA and tirelessly volunteered to the ALS Association after the passing of his wife.

Roger was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia Hime; parents, Maurice and Violet Hime; and son, Vincent Hime.

He is survived by his loving son, Phil Hime (Christine); brother Richard Hime (Karen); and three grandchildren, Skyler, Nicholas, and Quentin Hime.
