RODNEY L. WARDEN

Rodney Lee Warden, 86, passed away February 19, 2023, at home in Bella Vista AR. Rodney was born January 25, 1937 in Kansas City KS to Jess and Emma Warden. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lester Warden, and grandson Andrew Ziegler.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Helen (Buck) Warden; daughters Jackie Goranson (Broken Arrow OK) and Becky (Brad) Ziegler (Kansas City MO); son Ken (Anita) Warden (Mansfield TX); 4 grandchildren: Jon (Stephanie) Warden (St. Louis MO); Jessica Goranson (Tulsa OK); Lauren (Mark Cuddy) Ziegler (Alexandria VA); and Matthew Goranson (Baltimore MD); two great-grandsons Marcus and Malcolm Warden, and baby boy Cuddy arriving in April 2023.

Rodney grew up in Independence MO and Peculiar MO and attended Raymore High School. He spent his career as a buyer for Coast to Coast Hardware Stores. He was an avid sports fan – he liked to golf and especially loved cheering for the Florida Gulf Coast University Men's and Women's basketball teams.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083 at 2:00 pm with visitation 1:00-2:00 pm.
