RODNEY DWAYNE MYERS

Rodney Dwayne Myers, age 52, of Belton, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

A celebration of Rodney's life will be held with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A time of sharing will be held at 11:00 a.m.

Rodney was born in Woodland, California on November 4, 1972 to Ronald P. Myers and Kathryn Myers. He loved playing football in high school and graduated from Woodland High school in 1991. He has worked as a machinist in Aerospace at Triumph Structures, Orizon and NCS after leaving NCS he went to work at Labconco Corporation in Kansas City, where he considered the people he worked with as family. In life, Rodney was an avid fan of hockey, especially the New Jersey Devils, and always collected goalie memorabilia. In his younger years, Rodney played in different bands, he spent time as the lead vocalist of Tremor, he also wrote music and his love for heavy metal maintained throughout his life.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Kathryn Myers; and brother Robert Myers. He is survived by his girlfriend, Deborah Cummins; brother, Ritch Myers (Barb) and their children, Jay, Skylar and Gage; step sister, Paula Smith; step brother, Ronnie Smith; step daughter, Casandra Ford (Alex) and her children, Devin, Aiden, Ava Lynn, Amiyah, and Maleah; and step son, Joshua Cummins and his son Joseph.
