ROBERT LEONARD WHITE
Robert Leonard White was born in Utica, NY on January 9, 1922 and passed away November 13, 2011 in Kansas City, MO. He graduated in 1939 from Whitesboro (NY) High School and served in the Army from November 1942 to December 1945, during World War II, in the Philippines and New Zealand. In 1950, he graduated from Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam, NY with an Electrical Engineering degree, and worked for the Air Force Communications Service for the next thirty years. His job transferred him to Kansas City in 1970. He married Margaret (Peg) Hebard in 1950 and they celebrated their sixty-first anniversary in June. His survivors include his wife, of the home, children Janice Owens (Mick), Nancy Callahan (Greg Harper), Russell White (Michelle) and Joyce Doyen (Tim), 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Cremation. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or charity of your choice.
