ROBERT D. WEST
Robert D. West, 82, of Belton, Missouri passed away June 14, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at St. Sabina Catholic Church 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri with visitation 7-8 PM Monday, June 18, 2012 at St. Sabina Catholic Church with Rosary at 6:45 PM. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. Robert was born March 18, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Robert J. and Thresa E. LaForge West. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald E. West and sister, Patricia A. Morgan. Robert is survived by his wife Betty of 60 years; daughter, Teresa M. Mullens (Scott); sons, Steven D. West (Laura) and Daniel K. West; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Robert was a lifelong resident of the KC area and a 4 year Air Force Veteran during the Korean conflict. He retired from the KC Power and Light Co. after 37 years of service and was a Construction Supervisor at his retirement.
