Robert L. Stiles 93 of Peculiar, MO passed away August 3, 2025.  Graveside services at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.

Robert was born in Polk County March 18, 1932 to Cecil and Lula Stiles.  He was devoted to his family and will be remembered for his adventurous spirit.

Robert spent the majority of his career working at Bendix/Honeywell retiring in 1992.  He spent many years umpiring for the Lee's Summit Umpire Association teaching both umpires and scorekeepers.  Robert and his wife were proud members of the Moonshiners Square Dance Club where they made lifelong friends, dancing and traveling with the club.  They served as President of the National Square Dance Association.

Robert was very close to his brothers and their wives.  As adults, they did not always live in close proximity, but  visited with each other often.

Robert and his wife loved camping and travel.  Most summer weekends were spent at Stockton Lake waterskiing, swimming and telling stories with family and friends.  They also enjoyed traveling around the US and abroad including a 2 month RV trip to Alaska.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, son Randy, grandchildren Mary, Anthony and Aaron Stiles, Great Granddaughter Cora Wiercinski, brothers Jack, Bill, and Tom Stiles and his beloved dog, Molly.

He is survived by his son Gary Stiles (Ramona), daughters Becky Wiercinski, and Beth Kramps (Richard), brothers James Stiles (Gee), George Stiles (Nancy), sisters-in-law Lee Stiles (Jack), Leona Stiles (Bill), 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
