ROBERT RICHARD SMITH

Robert Richard Smith, age 54, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

Services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Rob will then be laid to rest at Raymore Cemetery with rendering of Military Honors by the United States Army.

Rob was born in Willard, Ohio on May 15, 1970 to David Lee Smith and Sharon Rose (Amburgy). Rob graduated high school and honorably served his country in the United States Army. Rob went on to continue his education and established his successful career as a System Administrator working in information technology. In life, Rob was an extremely funny and lovable man. He was very artistic and creative and was also known for his love of super heroes, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Comic con.

Rob was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Rose Caudill, Uncle, Phillip Amburgy; and maternal grandparents, Ralph and Virginia Amburgy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years,  Marylin Smith; children, Matthew Chumney and Bailey Smith (Hallie Dawson); father, David Lee Smith; brother, Bryan Smith; two sisters, Tina Sexton (Benny) and Crystal Caudill; uncle, Bruce Amburgy; as well as many aunts and uncles and even more nieces and nephews.
