ROBERT LEROY OSBERG

Robert Leroy Osberg, age 73, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at home.

A visitation service will be held from 12:00 p.m.to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A funeral will be held immediately following at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert was born in Rockford, Illinois  to Rudolph Osberg and Nina (Thompson) Osberg on April 28, 1947. After graduating high school, Robert served his country in the United States Air Force. After Robert's honorable and faithful service, he created for himself a successful career for forty-five years as an electrician. In life he was blessed with four children, Ami, Jeanna, Nicholas, and Patrick. He loved to read, and was a great cook especially cooking homemade noodles.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Nina Osberg; two sisters, Shirley Claus and Edna Pann; granddaughter, Dakota Rafferty; and two brothers in laws, Rodney Claus and Birger Hallin.

He is survived by his best friend and caretaker, Mary Jane Osberg; two daughters, Ami Louise Sommerfield and Jeanna Marie Sayles (Scott); two sons, Nicholas Sozo (Elisa) and Patrick Osbert (Brooke); brother in law, Richard Pann (Sue); sister, Sandra Hallin; and seven grandchildren, Travis (Kelsey), Alison (Jason), Justin, Dylan, Sophia, Emmanuel, and Moriah.
